Two Years on the Wall by Union Dining

Two Years on the Wall is a biennial art prize, hosted by Union Dining to showcase emerging artists from Victoria. Union Dining is now seeking entries to Two Years on the Wall, sponsored by TarraWarra Estate.

The competition awards a $9000 prize to an emerging artist residing in the state of Victoria, Australia, and a space on the wall upstairs at Union Dining Terrace to paint their winning mural and have it displayed for two years. The prize is made up of a $7,500 monetary prize awarded by TarraWarra Estate and a $1,500 dinner held at Union Dining, plus of course the winning artist will claim a space on Union Dining’s Terrace and have their winning art work displayed for two years on the wall.

How fancy is that peeps! The wall is 3 metres wide 2.5 metres high located at Union Dining in Richmond. They’re giving you guys free reign to paint whatever floats your boat but ultimately it’s judges-say with a decision made by Union Dining Adam Cash and Nicky Riemer, TarraWarra Estate wine maker Clare Halloran and Melbourne gallery owner Murray White, owner of The White Room.
